Eligibility for an Entrepreneur Visa

To be eligible for a Tier One (Entrepreneur) Visa, you need to have access to either £50,000 or £200,000 worth of funds which are held in a regulated financial institution. You also need to show:

  • you have a good knowledge of the English language
  • you can support yourself financially
  • you score at least 95 points on the PBS score
  • you are 16 years or older
  • you will work full-time in the running of your business;
  • you have created full-time employment for two EEA nationals during your stay;
  • you  have a controlling interest in the business;
  • you have a convincing and viable business plan;

You are entitled to form an entrepreneurial team and share investment funds.  We can provide you with further advice on this, as well as all other eligibility requirements.

Your family members are entitled to come with you to the UK as long as you can prove they can be supported without having to recourse to public funds.

The Length of Stay Granted under an Entrepreneur Visa

Under a Tier One (Entrepreneur) Visa, you can stay in the country for a maximum of three years and four months.  This can be extended for a further two years, and after five years you can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
